What we check in a roadworthy inspection:

Your inspection focuses on major safety items including:

What a roadworthy isn’t:

A roadworthy certificate doesn’t confirm your car is mechanically perfect or guarantee long-term reliability—it’s a safety compliance check, not a full condition report. If you want a more comprehensive assessment (especially before buying), we can help with additional checks.

Validity & re-checks (VIC)

- A roadworthy is current for 30 days from issue.

- If your vehicle doesn’t pass initially, you generally have 14 days to fix issues and return for a reinspection (often avoiding the full fee again, depending on the circumstances).
